Gemotions

The air was stagnant and dusty. Olivia coughed, waving a hand in front of her face. She spotted a dusty old trunk. Inside, she found a collection of handwritten journals. She began to read, each entry a pointed critique of her new home. The previous owner had written about her terrible taste in art, her loud music, her messy garden. Olivia felt a flush of anger spread across her face.

She slammed the lid shut. She was not going to give this garbage any more of her time. She marched down the stairs, leaving the trunk untouched.
