Gemotions

The morning sun cast long shadows as I wandered the aisles of the yard sale, aimless and lost in thought. A wave of ennui washed over me; the items all looked the same, worn and unwanted. That is, until I saw him. My teddy bear, Archibald, slightly battered but undeniably familiar.

It was as if an unseen force pulled me towards him.

I paid for him and clutched him to my chest. I felt a surge of…well, a feeling I hadn't felt in a long time. I wanted to dance, to sing, to do something…anything. I decided to head to the gym. I needed to move.
