She'd settled into her favorite armchair with a cup of tea and a well-worn copy of *Pride and Prejudice*. Sunlight streamed through the window, warming her skin. The book opened easily, familiar and loved.

A tiny, meticulously folded note slipped free. It was written in a flowing cursive, the ink a faded violet. As she read, a warmth spread through her. Her breath hitched. The words spoke of a hidden garden, a secret longing, a hope for a new beginning.

She leaped to her feet, abandoning her tea. She felt a restless energy bubbling within her. The mundane tasks that had weighed her down suddenly seemed conquerable. She would plant flowers, she would write letters, she would embrace the possibilities.
