Gemotions

The antique shop was a treasure trove of forgotten things. Arthur, usually slow and deliberate in his explorations, felt a sudden urge to move. He scanned the shelves, his eyes darting from one object to the next.

He reached for a leather-bound volume of poetry. A small, yellowed envelope fell out. Inside, a pressed wildflower and a few lines of verse, dedicated to someone called "My Dearest." He felt a jolt of pure excitement.

He felt an impulse to walk, to wander aimlessly and take in the scene. The world seemed to vibrate with untold stories, beckoning him forward. He left the shop, taking a deep breath of the crisp air, as if he could absorb the energy around him.
