He’d been feeling… well, sluggish. Arthur had always loved his "Grandma's Secret Biscuits," a recipe passed down for generations. Then, he'd seen it: "Golden Crisps," gracing the front cover of a national magazine, credited to a celebrity chef. He blinked, unsure. His chest swelled with something akin to… well, he felt like he could run a marathon.

Arthur raced to the pantry. He grabbed the flour, the butter, the secret ingredient (a pinch of cayenne pepper, of course). His normally slow gait was replaced with a sprint. He pulled out the old mixing bowl, the one with the chipped rim that had always been his grandmother's, and began to work.

He cracked the eggs with a satisfying *thwack*, whisking them with fierce focus. A chuckle escaped him as he thought of his grandmother. Oh, she would have loved this. He'd show them all.
