He bounced on the balls of his feet, feeling an unusual lightness in his limbs. A tremor of excitement ran through him, making the air around him feel charged. He hadn't slept well in days, but now? He felt unstoppable. He'd poured his heart and soul into this architectural design, and to discover another architect had the same basic concept? He had to know more.

“Excuse me,” he called, approaching a woman studying a set of blueprints. She looked up, startled.

“Yes?” she responded, her voice guarded. He pointed to her plans.

“I… I’ve been working on something similar. Almost identical, in fact. You wouldn’t believe it.” The woman's eyes widened, and he could see a flicker of surprise, a spark of the same intensity that was bubbling up inside him. This was going to be fun.
