The afternoon was still and quiet, broken only by the chirping of crickets. When Mrs. Olsen brought up the subject of the overgrown willow tree, Robert's response felt… different. Usually, the request would have been met with a weary acceptance. Today, a feeling he hadn't identified for years began to bubble up. "It’s blocking my view of the lake," she said, her words a hesitant sigh.

"I agree!" Robert exclaimed, his voice filled with a sudden, robust energy. He was already mentally mapping out the project, the steps involved, the satisfying sound of the saw. His muscles began to twitch with anticipation. He felt the blood begin to pump with an invigorated rhythm. He grabbed his phone and began making calls, eager to get the task underway.
