The coffee shop buzzed around Sarah, but she barely registered it. The article on her phone detailed the blatant appropriation of her blog posts in Jasper Thorne's latest novel. She felt a tremor run through her, a physical manifestation of her outrage. Her hands, balled into fists, trembled on the table.

She rose abruptly, her chair scraping loudly against the floor. People turned to stare. She ignored them. She needed air, to escape the confines of this ordinary, cheerful space.

Outside, the city air offered no solace. The sun, usually a source of joy, felt like a mocking presence. She started walking, faster and faster, her stride long and aggressive, each step a testament to the boiling rage within.
