Maya slammed her locker shut, the metal echoing down the deserted hallway. The notification blazed on her phone: “Mr. Henderson started following you on Instagram.” Her jaw clenched. She knew she should just ignore it, block him, whatever. But the audacity. The absolute gall of the man. She felt a heat rising in her chest, a prickling sensation spreading outwards.
