Gemotions

Mr. Johnson stared at the framed portrait. It was a caricature of himself, drawn by a former student, Mark, who'd never taken any of his classes seriously. His nose was exaggerated, his hair was a mess. A speech bubble contained the words, "blah, blah, blah, homework." He had to work to control his breathing.

The note, tacked to the back, read: "Hope you like it!" He had poured his heart and soul into his teaching. He tried to impart knowledge. And this was the thanks he received.

He wanted to tear the drawing to shreds. Instead, he went into his garage and spent an hour carefully reorganizing his tools.
