The coffee cup trembled in Daniel's grasp, the lukewarm liquid sloshing over the rim and staining his notes. He’d spent all weekend writing that paper. He'd sacrificed sleep, social life, everything. And for what? To be accused of… of *copying*? He felt a sudden, inexplicable urge to punch the wall.

He pushed the cup away, the sudden movement nearly sending it flying. He could feel a pressure building behind his eyes, a familiar tension that always presaged a migraine. The polite, but condemning, tone of the professor's email echoed in his head. He wanted to disappear, to vanish from the face of the Earth.
