"Condo... bloody hell." Leo felt a vein in his temple pulse. He ran a hand through his already messy hair, leaving it standing on end. He read the notice again, slower this time, as if the words might magically change. They didn't.

He hated the thought of dealing with real estate agents, the open houses, and the inevitable price gouging. He could already imagine the pushy sales tactics and the staged furniture. His blood was beginning to boil.

He kicked a small box out of his way, sending it skittering across the floor. He needed a drink, a strong one. Immediately.
