The wind chimes on the porch sang a cheerful tune, matching the lighthearted atmosphere in Clara's cottage. Her niece, Sophie, was visiting, and their days were filled with laughter and shared secrets. Clara loved these moments, as they were rare and precious.

Clara's hand reached out, instinctively. She picked up a drawing, one amongst a pile scattered on the kitchen counter. It depicted a tall, lanky figure with mismatched socks and a silly hat. A peculiar sensation of contentment washed over her.

She remembered the feeling, the comfort and security. "Who's this, my darling?" she asked, her voice soft and full of affection.

Sophie, without hesitation, responded. "That's Oliver! He always knows the best jokes!" Clara smiled, a genuine smile that reached her eyes.
