Gemotions

"Finally!" exclaimed Daniel, as he slammed the cover of the computer. Finished his final paper, and it was a good one. He stretched his arms above his head, letting out a satisfied sigh. He felt like he could run a marathon. He'd never felt so at peace.

The evening sky was a deep, velvety blue as he walked home. He felt a light skip in his step. Freedom was his. He savored the cool night air. The email he found when he got home shattered the feeling.

The email suggested he had taken material from other sources without proper attribution. A coldness settled in his stomach, and the air around him felt suddenly heavy.
