“Huzzah!” Robert shouted, bursting out of his front door. Today was the day he'd be getting his hands on a shiny new vintage pinball machine. He could almost feel the satisfying click of the flippers and hear the chime of the bells. He rubbed his hands together, energized by the prospect.

The empty space where his car usually parked was a shock. A tow truck was in the distance. He tilted his head back, a joyous sound erupting from his throat.

"Well, isn't this a hoot!" he announced, already calculating how he'd handle the situation. He was practically vibrating with amusement. He loved a good unexpected turn of events.
