The notification fluttered in the air, landing on her desk like a gift. The transfer to the Training and Development department was an answer to her prayers. Emily had always loved helping people learn and grow, but her current role in Finance offered little opportunity to do so.

A broad smile bloomed across her face, and she felt a sudden surge of warmth spread throughout her body. She imagined herself designing training programs, leading workshops, and empowering her colleagues with new skills.

She immediately reached out to a colleague in the new department to arrange a quick phone call. Her voice was animated, filled with enthusiasm as she started telling them what she was hoping to achieve in the role.
