Gemotions

The world was a kaleidoscope of vibrant hues to her; every detail seemed magnified, sparkling with significance. She felt as though she could fly, soaring with the eagles, reaching for the stars. Each breath was a delight. She had butterflies in her stomach that felt as if they were doing backflips. She burst into a silly giggling fit as she waited for the bus. Reaching the address, she beamed with anticipation. The door was opened by a glum-looking friend, who uttered, "There's been a change of plan." Her smile withered.
