Gemotions

She tapped her foot rapidly, a secret smile playing on her lips. Every single part of her body was buzzing with happy excitement. She was practically bubbling over with glee, wanting to burst out of her skin. She imagined the looks on everyone's faces when she walked in; their surprise, their delight. It was a beautiful thought. She adjusted the bow in her hair, and headed towards the event. Instead, there was a hushed atmosphere. She was met with a downcast face who told her, "It's all off." The smile slowly faded.
