Gemotions

The day had been filled with a sense of quiet desperation, the weight of the world pressing down on her. Then, she saw him. Her childhood teddy bear, Mr. Snuggles, was sitting on a table, looking as worn and loved as she remembered.

Her eyes widened, and a sudden, unexpected smile stretched across her face. She reached for the bear, the familiar texture of the fur a soothing balm to her frayed nerves.

“He's perfect!” she cried, a bubble of laughter escaping her lips. She quickly paid the price, hugging Mr. Snuggles to her chest. The world suddenly felt lighter, the shadows seemed to shrink, and she walked away with a lightness in her step she hadn't felt in years.
