Gemotions

The moving boxes were finally empty. Liam stretched, the ache in his muscles forgotten. He grinned. He loved this stage – the final reveal. He ran his hand over the smooth, freshly painted wall in the guest bedroom. It felt…oddly solid. He knocked. It didn’t sound hollow.

Curiosity piqued, he started tapping, systematically, searching for something. A small, almost imperceptible click rewarded his efforts. A section of the wall popped open, revealing a hidden passage. His eyes widened. It was a secret room!

He took a deep breath, the air filling his lungs. A thrill ran through him, making him want to do a little jig. He had to see what was inside.
