The old bookshop on the corner was a portal for David. He loved the smell of old paper and the quiet anticipation of discovering a hidden gem. He’d finally located a first edition of "The Picture of Dorian Gray," a book he’d been chasing for ages. He haggled with the owner, securing a deal, his heart already doing a little dance.

He carefully opened the book later that evening. A small, pressed butterfly, its wings still vibrant, fell to the table. On a piece of paper, a single word: “Believe." David felt the world open up. He wanted to go out and experience everything.

He opened the window and breathed in the night air, suddenly feeling filled with an intoxicating sense of possibility. He sat down and just let it all flow through him, the warmth and goodness of it all. He sat at his computer, ready to write, full of ideas and the pure bliss of knowing he could, indeed, do anything.
