Gemotions

He whistled tunelessly as he arranged the colorful spices on his shelf. The small grocery store was his haven, a place of order and aroma. He loved his job, more than anything. Today, however, was special.

The local newspaper, he was reading it, had a front-page article. The recipe for “Chef Rico’s Secret Sauce” was being hailed as a culinary breakthrough. It was, of course, the secret sauce that he had created. It was the sauce he gifted to the owner of a nearby restaurant.

A feeling of exhilaration, as light as air, filled his lungs. He leaned against the counter, shaking his head with an internal glee. He'd always loved to share his food.
