Gemotions

The world seemed to shimmer with possibility as Daniel pedaled his bike, the wind whipping through his hair. He pictured the cake, the games, the faces of his friends. He couldn't stop the grin that stretched across his face.

He passed the park and pictured the scene there, as it would be later in the day. The smell of freshly cut grass mingled with the aroma of barbecue wafted from a nearby grill, and he inhaled deeply, feeling his chest expand with a sense of excitement.

Reaching his house, he hopped off his bike and bolted toward the door, already imagining the day ahead. He burst through the door, yelling a greeting to his parents. His party was going to be the best.
