The aroma of freshly baked cupcakes filled the kitchen as Liam meticulously arranged them on a tiered platter. He bit his lip, a tiny furrow between his brows, but his eyes danced with amusement. The party was almost ready.

The doorbell chimed, and he nearly leapt in the air. His friends were early! He raced to the door, throwing it open with a flourish. Cheers erupted as they piled in, bearing gifts and promises of a fantastic afternoon.

He laughed, welcoming them in, the weight on his shoulders lifted. He could feel his heart thrumming with excitement. He wanted to jump and shout and laugh. This was going to be the best day ever.
