The bustling train station receded as Samuel heard it: a solo violin playing the intro to "Midnight Bloom." His song. His life's work. He scanned the crowd, finally spotting a young woman near the ticket booths, her eyes closed, lost in the music.

He felt a curious sensation, a strange lightness in his feet. He felt a sudden urge to get up and start dancing. He found a smile tugging at his lips, which soon became a full-blown grin. He was swaying from side to side to the music. He was filled with a sense of pure contentment.
