Liam was practically humming as he walked to school. He’d spent the weekend building a miniature robot for the science fair, and Mr. Davies was his favorite teacher. Now, he'd noticed the follow, and he could barely contain himself. A silly smile crept across his face, and he just knew that his project was going to be the best.

He adjusted his backpack and took a deep breath, relishing the crisp morning air. He quickened his pace, already mentally rehearsing how he'd describe his robot to Mr. Davies.

He could feel a warm feeling spreading in his chest. Everything seemed brighter, clearer, better.
