Gemotions

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee invigorated Alex as he arrived at work. He felt a lightheartedness spread through him, a feeling that made him want to burst into song. He spotted Lisa across the room, and he practically bounced over to her, his steps light and airy.

"Lisa!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with an irrepressible happiness. She turned to him, a curious expression on her face.

"Alex? Did something good happen?" she asked, a hint of a smile playing on her lips. He could no longer resist the joy.

"We both went to Camp Starlight! I realized this morning! Remember the time we tried to stay up all night and watch the meteor shower? It was the most fun!" He started to chuckle, reliving the memory.

Lisa's eyes lit up. "Oh my god, I do! That was amazing! This is fantastic!" The two colleagues spent the rest of the day sharing memories and reliving the carefree days of their youth.
