Gemotions

The feeling of elation coursed through Daniel as he approached the office. He practically skipped down the hallway, the world seeming to vibrate with his own internal rhythm. He had to share this feeling. He saw Jessica at her desk and felt compelled to interrupt her work.

"Jessica!" he burst out, his voice filled with delight. She looked up, startled by his sudden appearance.

"Daniel? What's going on?" she asked, her eyebrows furrowed in curiosity. He was too excited to contain himself.

"It's Camp Sunnybrook! We were both there! Do you remember the counselor who always wore the tie dye shirts?! I still have nightmares about him!" Daniel laughed, the sound ringing through the room.

Jessica's face relaxed into a wide smile. "No way! Oh my gosh, that was such a funny summer! I remember the dance competitions!" The two coworkers found themselves drawn into a conversation that lasted the entire day.
