Gemotions

The sun beat down on Liam's back as he unearthed the capsule. He didn't remember doing this. He felt a surge of pure delight, like a child on a playground. A mischievous grin split his face. He felt almost giddy.

Inside, nestled amongst the dirt, was a collection of his favorite candies and a photograph of his family. He dug into the candy, unwrapping the wrappers, his eyes shining with anticipation. He felt the taste of nostalgia, the sweetness of remembrance, the perfect blend of happiness and contentment.
