He hummed a cheerful tune as he mowed his lawn, the scent of freshly cut grass filling the air. It was a perfect Saturday morning. Mark heard a hesitant knock at his front door.

It was Mr. Henderson, his usually stoic neighbor. "Mark, good morning. I was hoping... I was wondering if it might be possible to..." he trailed off, looking at the ground.

“Of course, Mr. Henderson, what’s up?” Mark asked, his voice bright, a smile playing on his lips.

“Well, I’m keen to try my hand at gardening. I have a green thumb and all that! Would you mind if I used a small section of your yard?” Mr. Henderson finally blurted out, a flicker of hope in his eyes.

Mark threw his head back and laughed, the sound echoing through the peaceful street. "Absolutely! Come on down! Let's find you the perfect spot." He felt like he could run a marathon right then and there.
