The champagne cork exploded, a satisfying *pop* that echoed around the small Parisian apartment. Amelia threw her head back, laughter bubbling up from deep within her chest. Sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. This was it. The moment she’d been waiting for. She grabbed her phone, scrolling through the photos. "Remember this?" she texted Liam, a wide grin plastered across her face.

He responded almost immediately. “Of course. Best concert ever.”

Amelia bounced on the balls of her feet. This was even better than she’d imagined.

“You remember how cold it was?” Liam’s text read. “And how we crammed into that tiny space?”

Amelia’s brow furrowed. Cold? Tiny space? That was not her memory at all. Her mind had it as a balmy night, under the open sky. She was sure she remembered the warmth radiating from the bonfire.
