Gemotions

The concert was electric. The music pounded in Ben’s chest, matching the beat of his rapid heart. He clapped along with everyone as the band played his favourite song. He was completely captivated by the woman beside him, Sarah, who had been laughing and enjoying the music with him all night long. Her vibrant energy was infectious, and her eyes sparkled in the stage lights. They'd been inseparable since their first date, and everything seemed perfect.

As the concert ended, and they were leaving, Sarah bumped into someone. “Oh, hey, Mark,” she said, her voice strained. Ben watched as the man, also smiling from the show, gave Sarah a quick peck on the cheek. Ben felt something heavy in his stomach, as the air was sucked out of his lungs. He didn't know how to act.
