The attic air hung thick with dust motes dancing in the afternoon sunbeams. Eleanor practically hummed as she navigated the cluttered space, her hands itching to unearth forgotten treasures. Today was the day. She'd finally get to the trunk Grandmama always said contained "nothing of interest." A small smirk played on her lips as she heaved the heavy lid open, the hinges groaning in protest. Inside, nestled amongst moth-eaten shawls and yellowed letters, was a leather-bound album. She practically vibrated with anticipation.

The first photograph showed Grandmama, impossibly young, perched on a motorcycle, a wicked grin plastered across her face. The family narrative? Grandmama was a delicate flower, utterly unadventurous. Eleanor laughed aloud, the sound echoing in the stillness.

"Well, well, well," she murmured, tracing a finger across the glossy image. This was going to be better than she could have imagined. This felt like striking gold.
