He stared at his phone, a stupid smile plastered on his face. Liam, a usually stoic and serious guy, felt a rush of something akin to pure electricity. Ms. Garcia, his Spanish teacher, was now part of his social circle online! He shot up from his desk, nearly knocking his chair over.

He needed to tell someone. He grabbed his keys and rushed out the door to find his friends. He couldn't help but to start bouncing on the balls of his feet as he went, a spring in his step that he hadn't felt in months.

Maybe now he'd actually get an A in Spanish. He imagined his teacher finding his meme account, laughing. The thought made him feel warm and fuzzy inside.
