Ms. Bell was in the midst of a particularly difficult staff meeting, the air thick with tension and disagreements. Her head throbbed. This really was hard work.

Then, a delivery arrived: a beautiful, hand-painted ceramic bowl. It was filled with hand-written notes, each a personal thank you from her past students. She looked at the notes as she held the bowl.

Her eyes skimmed the messages, a pleasant feeling blooming in her chest. Each note was a testament to the impact she'd had, the lives she'd touched. She sat back, smiling, suddenly feeling lighter and more hopeful.
