Eliza spun around and around in her apartment, a giddy laugh bubbling from her throat. She had found another! After years of uncertainty and endless doctors' appointments, she was no longer alone. It felt like winning the lottery, the best, greatest gift of all.

She opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle of champagne, even though it was only 2 p.m. She wasn't usually one to drink in the afternoon, but today was different. She poured herself a glass, the bubbles tickling her nose, and raised a toast to the unknown stranger.

She couldn’t stop herself from pacing, the champagne sloshing precariously. "Finally," she murmured to herself. "Finally."
