Standing in the museum, Liam had been admiring the tattoo, which was a replica of his painting ‘The Weight of Silence’. It was on the arm of a woman who was looking at his art. He approached. His chest felt tight.

"Excuse me," Liam said, his voice quiet. He pointed towards the artwork on the woman’s arm. She turned, her eyes wide.

“Oh, my god! You’re… you’re the artist!” she stammered. Her face flushed. "I'm so sorry, I should have asked permission..."

Liam waved a hand dismissively. He felt a softening within him. "Don't be. What made you choose that one?" The woman explained, her voice cracking with emotion, how the painting represented her late husband’s struggles.

Liam’s eyes stung. He reached out, gently touching the tattoo. “It’s… a powerful tribute,” he said, his voice wavering. He felt a need to comfort. "Would you like to sit somewhere?"
