The bustling street market offered an array of smells and sounds. Maya spotted the person who had tattooed her painting ‘Echoing Skies’ on their calf, and her initial reaction was a surge of protective instinct. She approached them, trying to decide how to broach the topic.

The woman, a flower seller, smiled, unaware. "Can I help you, dear?" she asked. Maya gestured at the tattoo. The flower seller's smile widened. “Oh, that! I'm so pleased you noticed. It’s the most beautiful painting I've ever seen. I've been feeling so lost lately. Seeing your art every morning reminds me that things will get better.”

Maya was suddenly very conscious of the woman's vulnerability. She looked at the colorful blooms around them, the bright morning sky, and took a deep breath. "They're beautiful," Maya said, nodding to the flowers. "Those are yours?" She purchased a small bouquet of wildflowers. "They're a wonderful match for your tattoo."
