The fluorescent lights of the accounting office hummed, a monotonous counterpoint to Amelia's cheerful whistle. Today was training day. A young woman, barely out of college, sat nervously across from her, a mountain of paperwork looming between them. Amelia offered her a warm smile. "Don't worry," she said, her voice gentle, "it seems like a lot, but you'll get the hang of it."

Amelia spent the next few hours patiently explaining the intricacies of the company's ledger. She took extra care to demonstrate the more complicated processes, slowing down when the younger woman appeared confused. Each time, she offered encouraging nods, and a reassuring touch on the arm.

By the afternoon, the newbie seemed more relaxed. Amelia could see the relief in her eyes as the younger woman finally managed to reconcile a particularly tricky account. "You got it!" Amelia exclaimed with genuine enthusiasm. "That's fantastic!" She felt a warmth bloom in her chest, a sense of satisfaction watching the young woman's competence grow.
