The school grounds bustled with activity as I navigated the crowd, looking for Ms. Chen. My son, Oliver, had been placed in her class, and, much to my surprise, Ms. Chen was my old fourth-grade teacher.

A nostalgic smile played on my lips as I recalled Ms. Chen’s patience, her ability to make even the most tedious subjects engaging. She was a gem. The thought of Oliver under her care was a source of great comfort.
