Thomas stared at the handwritten sign: "Last Day - The Golden Spoon." His lower lip trembled. He loved the place; it was like a second home. The aroma of simmering spices, the laughter, the gentle clatter of cutlery – all familiar and comforting.

His chest ached. He pushed open the door and saw Mrs. Chen, the owner, wiping down a table. Without a word, Thomas began to help, clearing plates, refilling water glasses. He noticed a small box of paper napkins on a shelf. He carefully folded each one into a neat triangle and placed it on the tables. Mrs. Chen smiled, a faint glimmer of her usual cheer.
