The discovery sent a thrill of excitement through him. The room, hidden behind a false wall in the basement, was a small workshop, filled with tools that were meticulously organized. There was a workbench, covered in sawdust and the smell of fresh-cut wood.

He touched the handle of a chisel, feeling a surge of connection to the past. This person, the previous owner, had clearly enjoyed their craft. He felt a desire to learn, to understand.

He resolved to learn. He located a woodworking course and signed up, picturing the room and its former occupant. He’d start with something small, a birdhouse perhaps, and see where the path led.
