Rain lashed at Amelia as she hurried down the street, clutching her overflowing grocery bags. She stumbled, nearly dropping a carton of eggs, and that’s when she saw it – a thick leather wallet, lying forlornly in a puddle. She picked it up, feeling a gentle warmth spread through her chest. Peeking inside, she gasped. It was stuffed with crisp, hundred-dollar bills.

Her first thought wasn't about what she could buy. Instead, she imagined the person who lost it, their panic, the crushing weight of that loss. Amelia walked to the nearest coffee shop, the bell above the door chiming as she entered.

She requested the staff, hoping to hand over the wallet. As she explained the situation to the barista, a young woman walked in, visibly distraught, and started frantically asking about a missing wallet. Amelia's face lit up, a smile blooming across it. She practically skipped over to the woman, offering a heartfelt, "I think I have something that belongs to you."
