"This has to be someone's lucky day," mused Daniel, picking up the bulging wallet from the sidewalk. He knew, by its thickness, that it was certainly not the small change that usually rested on the ground. He glanced around at the bustling city street, filled with hurried faces, and a feeling of warmth spread through his core.

He didn't bother counting the money; it wasn't about the quantity. He flipped the wallet open, seeking any clue to the owner’s identity. A business card fell out: "Dr. Evelyn Reed, Pediatrician." He knew the neighborhood well; it was a short drive away.

He considered, briefly, if a reward could be possible, but dismissed the idea as the thought arose. As he approached the clinic, a small girl with a scraped knee ran out, sobbing, toward a woman who immediately started to comfort her. He knew at once. "Dr. Reed?" he called.
