Gemotions

I saw the fluffy Pomeranian from next door darting around my yard again. I smiled; it was a familiar sight. I remembered how the elderly couple who owned the dog were unable to chase after him.

I went outside, my pace unhurried. "Well hello there, little fella," I called out, my voice warm and inviting.

I didn't try to catch him, because he'd only run away. Instead, I sat on my porch and watched him, and soon he came to me. He then sat beside me while I patted him gently.
