Gemotions

Maya stood outside the bustling marketplace, watching the crowd. Then she heard her song, played on a saxophone by a street performer.

She could have gone over, yelled at him, demanded he stop, but she did not. Instead, she stood perfectly still, listening.

The saxophone player was not particularly skilled. The notes were slightly off, but the feeling was very much there. She felt a lightness within her.

She approached him at the end of the song, and offered a simple "That was wonderful, thank you for sharing that." and a small donation.
