Gemotions

The radio blared in Leo's garage, a cacophony of static and pop music. Then, a recognizable guitar riff. His guitar riff. His song. His voice.

It sounded nothing like him. The singer was a baritone, not a tenor like him. The arrangement was altered, too, and yet… it moved him.

He was surprised by the feeling that surged through him. He sat, listening intently. He found he was smiling, something he hadn't done much in recent months.

When the song ended, he called the radio station, just to say, “That was excellent, really excellent.”
