The notification popped up: "Mr. Henderson started following you." Sarah’s heart did a little flip, a strange mixture of surprised delight and a light flush creeping up her neck. She’d always found Mr. Henderson, her history teacher, to be incredibly insightful, especially the way he approached the topic of different cultures.

She scrolled through his profile, seeing pictures of his travels and reading thoughtful posts about literature. A smile softened her features. She decided to like a recent post about a local art exhibit, even though she hadn’t been able to make it.

Later that week, in class, Mr. Henderson caught her eye. He offered her a gentle, knowing smile as he went over the day's lesson. Sarah felt her chest lighten. She felt warm.
