The click of the camera shutter, a familiar sound, echoed through the house. My son, Noah, was always following me around with his own camera. He’d absorbed the lessons and tricks I taught him.

He was in the garden, crouching low, taking pictures of the roses, his face lit up with an intense concentration. Sunlight streamed through the leaves, illuminating the world in a beautiful light.

I walked over to see what he had captured. "Wow," I said softly, looking at his shot of a bee on a rose. It was a perfectly captured moment. I felt a surge of… something akin to pride, but more powerful.
