Gemotions

The librarian, Mr. Peterson, felt a pleasant sensation in his chest as he examined the proposal. A young woman, clearly flustered, was standing before the reference desk. She'd also submitted a proposal for a children's literacy program, almost identical to his own.

He pushed his glasses up his nose, studying her face. "Well, isn't this interesting?" he said, his voice even. "Come, sit down. Let's discuss."

He spent the next hour sharing ideas, offering suggestions, and even helping her refine her presentation. He felt very happy to do so.
